Well, this is indeed an intriguing turn of events. I have finally managed to get my hands on Candela's rose, and believe me when I say that this was no small feat. She never lets the damned thing out of her sight. It has taken weeks of planning to commander it for a short period of time. I have arranged to meet her in precisely 47 minutes in the garden, during which time I shall be able to sneak it into the rest of the roses. I have noticed during my observations that it often ends up there for some inexplicable reason (it is Candela after all), so Candela will not suspect a thing. But time is very precious right now, so, to my study of this rose.
Notes:
It appears to be completely black, and so one would expect it to be completely wilted, but on the contrary, it seems to be frozen in the midst of blooming. Thanks to casual observations made when possible, (which is almost never; Candela really needs to be more trusting, I'm not about to blow it up!) I know it has never changed
